Hamilton High School Students and the March of Dimes Community Voice Program (7 minutes)

This entry was created by: Kierra Joy

The March of Dimes Program was about the importance of preventing infant mortality. During this program we talked about things like prenatal care and not smoking and drinking while you're pregnant. It's mandatory that you always go to every check-up. Throughout the whole 9 months you should make sure your baby is kicking and moving. If your baby isn't active then something is wrong. Immediately go to the doctor, and get it checked out. Also, make sure you eat foods containing folic acid. It's extremely good for the baby. Plus you should never pick up anything heavy while you're pregnant.

We hope you enjoy this seven minute video production from our Media Concepts Department. Simply click one of the links below.

What I learned during this projects was knowledge about the Midsouth Regional Blood Bank, Life Blood. I also learned how important it is to donate blood, especially here in Memphis, TN. My real world connection was seeing how much I've done just by donating a small amount of my blood. By giving that small amount, I have helped save someone's life.

Being the producer of this project, I have experienced what it truly means to be overall responsible for an amazing project. What we studied in class prepared me for what's to come. I learned how to create/produce a commercial, create a blog, and how to upload a post and link. I had such a good time making this, there will be plenty more.
